Piurna

A simple book by Agustín Acosta

Unofficial version (NYC).

It's been 1 year since I officially released Piurna, and like any catchy song, it's stuck with me all this time. It's so catchy that I've found myself on several occasions taking those same photos without quite understanding the reason why.

A few days in New York led me to think about chronic states, and that's when I discovered that a chronic illness is long-lasting and typically progresses slowly. There is no consensus on the timeframe after which a disease is considered chronic, but on average, any illness that lasts longer than six months can be considered chronic.

I pondered whether these states depend on the amount of stimuli we receive, often without being able to defend ourselves against them, or if they truly depend on each one of us and our willpower to disconnect from them. I associated this thought with Piurna, and that's why I decided to create this unofficial version, aware that the second parts are never good.
